1. Warranty coverage

Wisent Parts Center provides a 180-day limited warranty on parts purchased directly through our official website.

The warranty period begins on the date the order is delivered to the customer.

Warranty coverage applies to parts sold through our website regardless of whether the product is identified as new, new other/open-box, remanufactured, used, Genuine OEM, OE-supplier, or aftermarket, unless a different warranty term is expressly disclosed on the applicable product page.

The 180-day warranty period begins on the documented delivery date, not the order date or shipment date.

2. Website orders only

This Wisent Parts Center 180-day warranty applies only to orders placed directly through wisentpartscenter.com.

Purchases made through third-party marketplaces, including eBay, are governed by the warranty, return, and transaction terms applicable to that marketplace or listing and are not covered by this website warranty.

3. Parts-only warranty coverage

The Wisent Parts Center limited warranty covers the part itself only.

Unless Wisent Parts Center expressly agrees otherwise in writing, warranty coverage does not reimburse or pay for:

  • labor charges;
  • diagnostic charges;
  • removal or reinstallation costs;
  • programming, coding, calibration, or relearn procedures;
  • towing or roadside assistance;
  • vehicle or equipment downtime;
  • rental vehicles or replacement equipment;
  • fluids, filters, seals, gaskets, shop materials, or related supplies;
  • lost income, lost business, or other consequential expenses.

Customers are responsible for diagnosis, removal, installation, and other service-related costs associated with determining whether a part is defective.

4. Warranty exclusions

Warranty coverage does not apply when the failure or damage results from circumstances unrelated to a defect in the covered part.

Examples include:

  • normal wear and expected service-life deterioration;
  • consumable or maintenance-related wear that is expected as part of normal operation;
  • improper installation or incorrect installation procedures;
  • failure to perform required programming, calibration, relearn, initialization, or setup procedures;
  • installation on an incorrect or incompatible application;
  • misuse, abuse, neglect, accident, impact, or physical damage;
  • contamination by fuel, oil, coolant, DEF, water, debris, chemicals, or other foreign material;
  • overheating or operation outside normal operating conditions;
  • electrical damage caused by incorrect voltage, shorts, wiring faults, grounding problems, charging-system issues, or another electrical fault;
  • damage or failure caused by another defective component or system;
  • unauthorized modification, alteration, disassembly, or repair;
  • use of the part outside its intended vehicle, engine, equipment, or operating application.

A warranty claim may be denied when the available evidence shows that the failure resulted from an excluded condition rather than a defect in the warranted part.

5. Professional diagnosis required

Warranty claims require documentation showing that a qualified automotive, diesel, heavy-duty, equipment, or other appropriate repair professional has diagnosed the part.

The diagnosis must reasonably identify:

  • the part or component being diagnosed;
  • the reported failure or malfunction;
  • the reason or cause of the failure, when reasonably determinable;
  • the technician, repair facility, or service provider that performed the diagnosis.
A customer statement that a part “does not work” by itself is not sufficient to establish a warranty claim. Wisent Parts Center must be able to review professional diagnostic information confirming the issue and the reason for the failure.

Depending on the type of part and reported failure, Wisent Parts Center may request a written diagnostic report, repair order, technician findings, scan-tool results, fault codes, test results, photographs, installation records, or other supporting documentation.

6. Information required for a warranty claim

To begin a warranty claim, please provide enough information for our team to identify the order, product, and reported failure.

We generally require:

  • your Wisent Parts Center order number;
  • the purchaser's name and contact information;
  • a clear description of the reported issue;
  • clear photographs of the part and identifying labels or tags;
  • professional diagnostic documentation confirming the issue and identifying the cause of failure;
  • additional vehicle, engine, equipment, VIN, serial number, or application information when relevant to the claim.

Additional documentation may be requested when reasonably necessary to determine whether the reported failure is covered by this warranty.

7. Warranty claim review

Submitting a warranty claim does not automatically establish warranty coverage. Wisent Parts Center will review the order information, professional diagnosis, photographs, product information, and other relevant documentation before approving or denying the claim.

In some cases, the part may need to be returned to Wisent Parts Center or another designated location for inspection before a final determination can be made.

Customers should not discard, disassemble, modify, or destroy a claimed part while the warranty review is pending unless instructed to do so by Wisent Parts Center.

8. Replacement & refund

When a warranty claim is approved, Wisent Parts Center's primary remedy is to provide a replacement for the covered part.

The replacement may be the same part number or an appropriate replacement or superseding part when applicable.

If an approved replacement cannot reasonably be supplied, Wisent Parts Center will issue a refund of the purchase price paid for the covered part.

Approved warranty claims are handled on a replacement-first basis. A refund is issued when Wisent Parts Center cannot provide a suitable replacement.

9. Warranty shipping

For an approved warranty return, Wisent Parts Center will provide and pay for the return shipping label.

When a replacement is approved and shipped, Wisent Parts Center will also cover the standard shipping cost of sending the replacement part to the customer.

Customers must follow the return instructions provided by Wisent Parts Center and package the part appropriately to prevent additional damage during return transportation.

Additional return procedures are described in our Return & Refund Policy.

10. Submit a warranty claim

To begin a warranty claim, contact Wisent Parts Center and provide the applicable order, product, diagnostic, and contact information described in this policy.
