Installation Notes

Before fitting, check the air cleaner, ducting, and exhaust manifold for debris - anything left in there can wreck the new turbo on startup. Clean old gasket material off the manifold and the oil supply/drain flanges, and inspect the oil supply and drain lines for cracks or restriction.

Prime the turbo with clean oil before start so it doesn't spin up dry. Sort out the cause of the old failure first.
