The Mack 23378071 is a genuine shift selector for the mDRIVE automated transmission. It is the pad the driver uses to select drive, neutral, reverse and manual mode, and it sends those requests to the transmission control over the data bus. Fits Mack trucks with the mDRIVE.

Purpose of the Part

The mDRIVE has no mechanical linkage to the transmission. When the driver picks a gear, the selector sends that as a signal and the transmission control does the rest. So the selector is purely an input device, but the truck will not move without it working.

No response when selecting a gear, the display not lighting or reading wrong, the truck stuck in neutral, intermittent gear selection, and transmission or selector communication faults.
