Purpose of the Part

The 6305088 moves coolant through the engine. The pump is belt driven, so it turns whenever the engine runs, and its output scales with engine speed. Everything downstream depends on it: the EGR cooler, the oil cooler circuit and the radiator all rely on the flow this pump provides.
