Purpose of the Part

The SSAM took the place of the separate SAM Cab and SAM Chassis modules the older trucks used. Switches do not power anything directly, they tell the SSAM what the driver wants and the module powers the circuit. Lights out, wipers or HVAC not working, dash warnings with no obvious cause, no communication with the module on a scan tool, and several unrelated electrical faults showing up together.
